Economic Slowdown?

With all the uncertainty in the media and the talk of doom, gloom and credit crunch, we are finding that yes the market is a little slower, but there are still plenty of companies in the South Yorkshire and the North Midlands region looking to recruit.

We are constantly liaising with companies and the overall feeling has been that there is economic pressure on margins, but that these companies in question are still competitive due to advanced manufacturing techniques and cutting edge products.

Service based clients that we have spoken to are also performing well in the current climate.  Their skills and value adding services are still in demand.

So, from what we hear and see, yes there is a pinch, but it may not be as long lasting as some predict.

In terms of the job market, there are the vacancies out there for candidates with good accounts and administration skills.  There are companies recruiting, so don't panic, we're here to help you as a candidate or a client!
